We offer a range of services, including Residential Aged Care and Community Care. We are looking for an Executive Director Residential Services to join our Executive Leadership Team. Lead Our Residential Services We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to take on the role of Executive Director Residential Services, overseeing two co-located residential aged care facilities (9060 beds, including a 30-bed Memory Support Unit). Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for both facilities. You will directly manage two Clinical Care Managers, ensuring they are supported to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care. As part of the Executive Team, you will contribute to shaping the organisation’s culture, strategy, and long-term success, have direct exposure to the Board and play a pivotal role in organisational reform, Lead through a period of national aged care reform, driving innovation, compliance, and sustainability and Play a key role in the organisation’s strategic expansion and growth strategy. Key Areas of Focus Resident-centred care : Ensure services consistently meet the highest standards of safety, dignity, and wellbeing. Leadership & culture : Inspire, support, and empower two Clinical Care Managers and their teams, fostering accountability and a positive workplace culture. Performance & compliance : Oversee quality standards, clinical governance, and Aged Care Quality Standards compliance. Operational excellence : Ensure smooth daily operations across both facilities, including the Memory Support Unit. Financial & resource management : Lead budget planning, contract oversight, and efficient resource use. Safety & wellbeing : Drive a culture of safety for staff, residents, volunteers, and visitors. Innovation & growth: Champion reform, explore new models of care, and identify alternative revenue streams. Strategic expansion: Lead due diligence, integration planning, and operational alignment as the organisation acquires and scales to manage up to five facilities. About You We are looking for a strategic, results-driven leader who brings: Registered Nurse qualification (AHPRA) – mandatory. Business, Management or related tertiary qualification – desirable. Demonstrated success in senior leadership within residential aged care services, preferably across multiple sites. Proven ability to drive strategic growth and sustainability, including identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and developing alternative revenue streams. Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to balance financial performance with exceptional resident care outcomes. In-depth knowledge of aged care funding models, policy, accreditation, and compliance requirements. Extensive experience in operational planning, human resources, financial management, and clinical governance within a residential aged care context. Strong ability to lead, coach, and mentor diverse, multi-skilled teams across multiple facilities. Proven track record in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives and achieving accreditation outcomes. Highly developed communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence effectively at all levels. Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Current Victorian driver’s licence and a valid NDIS Screening Check.
