The apprentice will gain hands-on experience across a variety of digital channels, including social media, content creation, SEO, and campaign planning. Working alongside a passionate and experienced marketing team, they will contribute to impactful storytelling that highlights the incredible work Salutem does in supporting children, young people, and adults with complex needs.
Through the Salutem Academy, apprentices receive personalised training and mentorship, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and confidence to grow and succeed in the digital marketing space.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level Multi-Channel Marketer qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Assisting in the creation of engaging content for various channels, including websites, job adverts, social media updates and other promotional materials.
* Scheduling and posting content across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
* Monitoring social media channels for comments and messages; actively assisting with community engagement, responding to enquiries and nurturing online conversations.
* Assisting with email marketing campaigns, including drafting content and managing contact lists, aiming for clear communication and effective calls to action.
* Using analytic tools to track engagement key metrics and support the analysis of marketing campaign performance.
* Assisting with the design and production of brochures, leaflets and other print materials.
* Maintaining marketing merchandise orders and stock distribution.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* £24,000 per annum.
* Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
* An eye for design, with the ability to think outside the box.
* Proficient in using basic computer software.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Eagerness to learn new skills, embrace feedback, and take on new challenges.
* A caring and understanding approach, reflecting the values of social care.
* Some experience with content creation would be beneficial.
* Take initiative and show a positive attitude.
* Work collaboratively across different departments.
* Able to adapt to changing priorities and learn quickly.
* Treat all individuals with dignity and respect, maintaining confidentiality.
* Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English
