The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:
1. Repairs to domestic plumbing systems
2. Internal and external carpentry work
3. Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
4. Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
5. Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
6. Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
7. To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
8. Recent experience of undertaking a similar role within social housing is advantageous
9. Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
10. Additional skills in some of the following disciplines - plumbing, carpentry and plastering would be advantageous
11. Working knowledge of the health and safety regulations
12. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

23. £34,376 per annum (rising to £36,185 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
