Business Development Manager
Location: Newcastle or Leeds

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager that specialises in owning full sales cycle's to turn ambiguous, loosely defined business problems into funded discovery, MVPs and scaled delivery SoWs. You will be comfortable selling packaged solutions across custom software, data platforms, analytics/AI and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Over 3+ years in B2B consultative sales in the UK, with a strong emphasis on solution/project-led selling rather than pure licence or commodity resale.
* Proven track record of adhering to annual targets and outcomes, specifically net new business deals ranging between £50k - £300k.
* Constantly hitting or exceeding annual business targets in the £1m + TCV range.
* Experience creating net-new demand through insight-led outreach, workshops & provocations.
* Ability to engage with Product, Digital, Data, Ops & Finance stakeholders to understand how they build consensus, conflicting priorities and internal governance.
* Demonstrated use of structured qualification, stage-gating, discovery gates, go/no-go points & commercial validation.
* Examples of guiding net new customers and pre-existing accounts through 3-9 month cycles without losing momentum.
* Ability to explain the value of custom software, data platforms, analytics/AI and integrations. This includes typical use cases, risk/benefit trade-offs and how these map to business outcomes and ROI.
