As a Development Manager, you will be…
Working on major projects and mixed-use developments, coordinating key infrastructure to deliver serviced land parcels for house builders and commercial operators - enabling them to focus on their core operations. Our teams manage projects throughout the full development lifecycle including:
* Setting and maintaining programmes and budgets.
* Identifying opportunities for value engineering.
* Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and local communities to report on project progress.
* Identifying and managing risks promptly to prevent delays and protect the company’s reputation.
* Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the projects, including technical, planning, commercial, environmental, legal, and construction.
* Evaluating site constraints and monitoring risks.
* Liaising with Local Authorities throughout the technical approval process for Section 184, 278, 38, and 104 agreements, and ensuring legal agreements are in place.
* Appointing and managing both internal and external consultants.
* Working closely with Principal Designers, Principal Contractors, and Production Managers.
* Ensuring that designs, reports, and applications are completed and submitted with a high degree of accuracy and quality, with all aspects talk to each other.
* Staying informed on current planning, technical, and environmental matters.
