As a Gardener at Thamesfield you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating beautiful outdoor spaces that they can enjoy and relax in.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the planting and maintenance of flowers, plants, and trees.
* Performing regular watering, pruning, and weeding to keep the gardens tidy and vibrant.
* Maintaining lawns, hedges, and other green areas.
* Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools.
* Assisting in the implementation of landscaping projects.
* Collaborating with the team to ensure the gardens meet the expectations and preferences of our residents.
* Following health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
* Helping the GM/FM with other tasks in and around the Village outside the garden environment when necessary.
Requirements
* Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred, but not required.
* Passion for working with plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
* Basic knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care.
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
* Physical stamina to perform gardening tasks, including lifting and operating equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to garden maintenance.
