Head of Sales : Events

We are excited to be working with a fun and exciting company who produce outstanding events across high end venues in the city of London They are looking for a Head of Sales with excellent people skills and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets to join their team. This role involves a high volume of inbound enquiries, as well as driving new business. You will need to be an experienced individual with a proactive approach to sales and a passion for building client relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
* Handle all incoming event enquiries
* Develop and implement the sales strategy to achieve targets
* Preparation of quotes and tenders
* Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships
* Attend client meetings, show rounds, tastings and networking events
* Create bespoke proposals based on client requirements and budgets
* Manage sales forecasting and setting financial targets
What do we require from you?
* Previous experience in reactive and proactive event sales from a venue or hotel background
* Confident in creating sales forecasts and budgets
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Able to build and create relationships with clients and suppliers
