About The Role
Start Date: End of August 2025, ready for the new summer term
Job Title: Catering Assistant
School Location: Paignton Academy, Borough Rd, TQ4 7DH
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shifts & Working Hours: 9:30am-2:30pm (20 hours per week)
Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers as part of the catering team.
* Assisting in the preparation of food and snacks for the site.
* Counter service and till work.
* Keeping the kitchen and restaurant areas clean and tidy at all times.
We welcome applicants with excellent customer service skills, ideally from catering or retail backgrounds. However, if you don't have this experience, don't let it deter you. Our focus is on making good food and providing great service, which our clients and customers love!
