Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Support Assistant to join our team on a 6-month temporary basis, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative and adhoc project support. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused, and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general administrative support to the team, including data entry, document management, and filing.
* Respond to internal and external enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
* Support scheduling and coordination of meetings, events, and appointments.
* Maintain accurate records and update internal systems as required.
* Assist with producing reports, minutes, and other documentation.
* Support the onboarding of new customers, including preparing welcome materials and coordinating IT/access needs.
* Liaise with other departments and external partners as needed.
* Covering reception when required
* Carry out ad hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.
* Supporting events team with seminars and workshops
Person Specification:
Essential:
* Previous experience in an administrative or support role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A flexible and positive approach to work
Desirable:
* Experience working in customer facing role
* Knowledge of CRM systems or other relevant databases
* Experience supporting a variety of departments
