Procurement Controller - Up to £33,00pa Runcorn – Site Based We are supporting a fantastic business based in Runcorn looking for an experienced Procurement Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, driving value across the supply chain through operational goals and managing supplier performance. This opportunity is fully based on site but offering fantastic long term progression opportunities. Responsibilities as a Procurement Controller: · Building strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and prices. · Maintaining and organising stock for efficient material availability. · Sourcing materials, creating purchase orders and managing the purchasing process to completion · Addressing supply issues proactively to keep projects/jobs on track. · Communicating with suppliers and internal teams to streamline procurement processes. · Ensuring materials meet specifications and are delivered on time. · Conducting weekly stock counts and updating stock records. · Creating & Implementing processes to improve stock control. · Allocating costs to specific projects/jobs. · Sourcing new suppliers. · Managing projects, scheduled maintenance, and repairs to ensure these are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
