About the Role As the Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing multi-channel campaigns, and analysing performance metrics to drive business growth. This role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, creating and managing content, and identifying opportunities to enhance the company's market presence. Key Responsibilities Proactively partner with the Sales & Marketing Director to understand business requirements and to create, manage and drive marketing plans for the business Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels including email and social media Track and measure SEO and Google Analytics metrics and provide reports Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising, and SEO, to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships Support the Sales & Marketing Director in delivering agreed activities What youll need to succeed In-depth marketing experience at Senior Executive or Manager level Proven experience in a digital marketing role, preferably in B2B marketing Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding Proven experience with Google Analytics and SEO and understanding of SEO best practice Strategic marketing and campaign management experience Strong communication skills, including negotiation and presentation Digital marketing expertise, including SEO, social media, and email marketing Ability to analyse marketing performance data and derive actionable insights Experience in content development and brand management Project management and leadership skills Background in mechanical systems or engineering is advantageous Experience using Adobe CC software e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Canva Commercial awareness and business acumen The ability to think strategically Strong attention to detail Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings Drive and self-motivation A flexible approach to work The ability to work well under pressure An enthusiastic team player with the ability to foster good working relationships Multiple languages, written and spoken would be an advantage Why choose SMT?
