About the Role
:
Care Workers really make a difference to the lives or our service users, offering a highly personal service you will be helping to enable people to live as independently as possible, by providing the best standards of care and support.
1. Assisting with all elements of personal care, to ensure service users are supported in being as independent as possible in preparation for their day ahead
2. Assisting service users with getting washed and dressed, preparing meals, prompting and assistance with taking medication
3. Light household tasks
4. Offering companionship and helping build service users confidence and independence
5. Health and safety; moving and handling
6. Dementia assistance
7. As well as specialist areas that may be required by specific service users
8. Free training induction programme (EEP)
9. Free access to ongoing training in specialist training
10. Free eLearning courses
11. Access to health and social apprenticeships

17. Physical fitness (not extreme!)
18. Ability to manage behaviour which challenges
No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.
