Your new company Hays Engineering are working on an exclusive opportunity to join a small growing firm specialising in the design and build of food processing machinery in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Your new role To design food processing machinery on SolidWorks, monitor and control the build of that machinery through to commissioning at the customers site if required. A typical day will consist of completing drawings, proof of concepts on 3D printer, issue drawings to fabricators, selecting, ordering and recording parts, monitoring build and quality, writing user manuals, dispatching machines and spares, and on-site commissioning. What you'll need to succeed Must be competent on SolidWorks 3D printer experience Will work to deadlines and can cope with pressure Happy to work in a small office environment Must be willing to make decisions Third level qualification or equivalent experience Must be happy to travel abroad Willing to manage projects from conception to completion Best suited to someone with an analytical mind Must have a driving licence Must be computer competent, including Microsoft suite Desirable AutoCAD proficient Design experience on food processing machinery Knowledge of PLC and general control systems and instrumentation What you'll get in return Casual dress Company pension On-site parking Flexible working hours (40 hours per week) Early finishes on Friday Paid breaks 28 Days Holiday What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
