Salary: up to £60,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks, or flexibility around term‑time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

We aim to have a multidisciplinary clinical team for each of our sites to provide vital provision in collaboration with our education teams, creating an environment where pupils can truly flourish and grow in independence.
We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in‑house Clinical Team at The Shires - Oakham School. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need such as autism, developmental trauma and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus, and the postholder will coordinate line management of onsite staff, leading on service development of the clinical school‑based service alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
Our Clinical Teams maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach, placing pupils at the forefront. All settings uphold a strong safeguarding culture, with pupils heard, respected, and involved in decisions that affect them.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree qualification in Psychotherapy (minimum level 7) or Speech and Language Therapy
* Experience in Clinical Leadership and Management
* Registered Practitioner with HCPC or other approved governing body
* Valid and up‑to‑date professional registration & membership of professional body (e.g., BPS)
* Experience within the specialist client group, working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
