We have an excellent opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join the growing team at a first opinion small animal veterinary practice in the coastal City of Southampton, Hampshire
* full time permanent opportunity with some Saturday mornings on a rota and no Sundays, no OOH (part time hours may also be considered)
* practice is well equipped with new up to date technologies and equipment and there is orthopaedic equipment on site
* caseload is interesting and varied including some exotics
* ideally you will have good experience in practice, enjoy working as part of a team and be confident in occasional sole charge
* work alongside an AVP in small animal surgery and an interest in exotics.
* join a friendly, welcoming and supportive team
* CPD allowance and funding towards certificates available
* well located to enjoy the sought after coastal City of Southampton with easy access to the picturesque New Forest National Park and the stunning south coast.
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* good experience in practice
* confident to work some occasional sole charge
