Inventory and Stock Control Officer
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
KIMS Hospital, Kent's largest independent hospital, is looking for an Inventory and Stock Control Officer to join our busy Purchasing and Stores team.
You'll play a key role in managing and replenishing stock across the hospital, ensuring our clinical and operational teams have the supplies they need to deliver outstanding patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing stock levels and replenishments using GHX Powergate.
* Receiving, processing and delivering stock to departments.
* Supporting stock takes, cycle counts and data accuracy.
* Ensuring correct storage, rotation, and reduction of waste.
* Liaising with suppliers to resolve delivery or invoice queries.
About you:
* Strong numeracy and IT skills (Excel essential).
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
* Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
* Inventory management experience (desirable).
* Experience using GHX Powergate (desirable).
While not essential, experience within a healthcare environment or familiarity with GHX PowerGate, NEXUS, or PowerGate Web systems would be a bonus
