Contracts Manager - Industrial Manufacturing
Location - Kent (Open to relocation and support provided)
Salary - Up to £80,000

I am currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee and manage the successful execution of projects from the Purchase Order stage through to final delivery, invoicing, and payment. This is a Senior position within a specialist organisation which is crucial in ensuring smooth project delivery, while managing a team of professionals, fostering business development, and ensuring operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will come from a HVAC manufacturing background or from the following industries renewables, marine, nuclear, oil and gas or power generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Sales and Proposals teams on major projects to understand project costs, design specifications, and customer requirements
Support and guide the project team from bid/quote clarification phase through to job handover upon receipt of orders.
Oversee and manage the workloads of the Project Management team
Ensure all necessary documentation, drawings, designs, work instructions, cost amendments, and invoicing are created and delivered for the successful completion of projects
Act as the formal point of contact for clients, addressing queries, issues, complaints, and changes. Resolve potential issues that could delay projects or affect profitability
Liaise with senior management to provide regular updates on project progress and financial health
