What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting students aged 1116 in an alternative provision environment
Delivering academic and emotional support 1:1 and in small groups
Assisting with positive behaviour strategies and structured routines
Working under the guidance of SENCOs, therapists, and school leaders
Supporting re-engagement with learning and classroom participation
Promoting student confidence, resilience, and independence
Ideal Learning Support Assistant For this Bexley School:
Graduate with a degree in psychology, education, or related subject
Previous experience with SEND or SEMH is desirable but not essential
Calm, confident, and committed to long-term development
Able to build strong, consistent relationships with challenging pupils
Reliable and ready to commit for the full academic year
