Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Swadlincote from January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
Support children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) both in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and supporting students' individual learning plans.
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Support students with personal care where necessary and help them develop their social skills.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents when required.
About You:
Experience working with children or in a similar role, ideally within an SEN setting.
A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive attitude and the ability to think on your feet.
Relevant qualifications in education or SEN (desirable but not essential).
