Location Within 30 minutes of the facility
Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule (4) 10 hour shifts, either 7 AM - 5 PM or 8 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday. On-call required for 10-12 shifts per month.
Job Description The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist will prepare and assist in cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), and various other procedures including peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting hemodynamic data, providing procedural assistance to physicians, and managing access sites pre, intra, and post-procedure.
Responsibilities Prepare and prep for cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), and other related procedures.
Monitor and document hemodynamic data accurately.
Provide pre, intra, and post-procedure assistance to physicians.
Manage and assess access sites, communicating necessary information to the physician.
Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab.
Prepare patients for various procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
RCIS certification preferred.
BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required.
Experience in cardiac cath lab is mandatory.
