Job Summary
Responsible for order processing of in-contract scheduling and management of supplier delivery performance in line with MPS and business requirements.
Deliver against supplier and business performance objectives focused on procured parts delivery.
Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure delivery aligns with operational performance requirements from suppliers across a scope of approximately £10m spend.
2. Manage supplier scheduling in accordance with MPS and ensure the accuracy of supplier and procured parts data within the MRP system to minimize shortages and unwanted inventory.
3. Maintain daily supplier promise dates to ensure up-to-date and accurate scheduling information.
4. Support the Procurement Operations Manager or Site Procurement Manager in delivering the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process related to external supply reviews.
5. Manage suppliers to ensure they can meet order commitments, identify supply risks, constraints, and bottlenecks, escalating issues as necessary.
6. Conduct external capacity reviews aligned with MPS.
7. Drive ongoing supplier performance improvement initiatives.
8. Manage supplier relationships and daily interactions.
9. Facilitate multi-function team reviews with key suppliers.
10. Maintain daily communication with internal customers and receiving areas.
11. Adhere to standard procurement processes and daily management tasks.
12. Own the supplier scorecard process to communicate performance and review regularly during multi-function team meetings.
13. Assist SQE with supplier non-conformance issues, returns, and claims processing.
14. Ensure prompt supplier payments by resolving invoice queries.
15. Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
* Degree qualified or 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement roles.
* Proficient in IT, especially Excel.
* Degree in Business Administration is desirable.
