Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 01/08/2026.
Position Profile: Pharmacy Assistant working under the general supervision of a pharmacist, you will be involved in medication inventory management for pharmacy, the emergency department, inpatient services, and outpatient clinics attached to the Armadale Kalamunda Group. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, you will also be involved in the dispensing of prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients under the care of our health service".
Area Profile: (EMHS) The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.
Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.
The EMHS consists of Royal Perth Hospital; Armadale Health Service; Bentley Health Service; Kalamunda Hospital; St John of God Midland Public Hospital and a range of community and population health services.
Armadale Health Service (AHS) is a general hospital focused on providing a range of high quality health care services in the community. The hospital, which is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group, is equipped with an Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit and provides high-quality general medical and surgery services, rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric and neonatal, mental health, renal medicine and dialysis services and ambulatory care.
Kalamunda Hospital provides palliative care services, with a small amount of day procedure cases. Orchard Avenue Centre is the health service’s mental health clinic, located offsite. Successful applicants may be rostered to work across any of these three locations
