Youll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? Youll work as part of a team undertaking highways repairs, ranging from potholes, patching, drainage, footways and general highway maintenance. Youll use technology(tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records. Driving operate plant and equipment wheretrained,necessary for the for the day to day tasks set. Well ask you to take responsibility for vehicles/plant/materials in your charge. Where appropriate provide direction/supervision of the work to less experienced operatives. Part of the role is to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out of hours activities on a standby rota. What youll bring Do you have a clean driving License? A commitment to Health and Safety Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
