We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Psychologist (Racket Sports) to join our team. This exciting role blends on-court psychological coaching with off-court psychological support for players of all ages and abilities. You will work closely with athletes through 1-1 sessions, group workshops, and team presentations, helping them to build both their technical skills and mental resilience. The role also offers opportunities for travel to tournaments, providing in-person support and delivering performance-enhancing workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1-1 and group psychology and coaching sessions both on and off court.
* Design and lead workshops, presentations, and mental skills programs.
* Provide psychological support at tournaments as needed.
* Work collaboratively with players, coaches, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Maintain professional standards and ethical practice at all times.
* Qualified tennis coach (minimum LTA Level 2 certification).
* Master's degree (or equivalent) in Sport Psychology.
* Experience delivering tennis coaching and sport psychology interventions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to working with players of varying ages and skill levels.
* High tennis playing standard (e.g., county, national level experience).
* HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist status.
* BPS Chartered Psychologist status.
* Experience supporting athletes in competitive environments.
