Responsible for the safe and profitable delivery of all types of minor and major capital works whilst ensuring that sufficient works are planned and delivered according to programme at the tendered cost, quality and time.
What you'll be doing
As an Operations Supervisor, you will have the following accountabilities:
1. Review of incoming works to ensure required design and pre-construction information is provided by the client to a sufficient standard
2. Complete site walks with client through ECI, advising of buildability, risks, specialist material, plant, or methodology requirements etc
3. Promoting and developing the use of BIM Field 360 in the end-to-end planning and delivery process. This includes early warnings, compensation events, daily diaries, site information and progress logs
4. Ensure zero harm is the focus of all capital delivery
5. Develop job packs including but not limited to appraised sub-contractor RAMs, STATS, CPPs, ITPs, TM plans
6. Productivity reporting and providing information to support managing outputs
7. Supporting BBLP commercial team for cost recovery
8. Allocation of works to subcontractors
9. Resolution of queries relating to workstack, planned and completed works
10. Supporting the delivery of winter service provision.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
11. Experience of working on a Highways Maintenance Contract including operational management/ supervision
12. Understanding of capital works delivery, buildability, and highways project planning
13. Able to produce capital works programmes
14. Good level of Business Acumen/ basic understanding of NEC3
15. Good level of experience with Microsoft packages
16. Good interpersonal skills; communication, can provide clear direction,
17. Excellent organisational skills.
