Job Description JOB PURPOSE This position is primarily to provide administrative support for the procurement of facilities, services and non-stock products for Harsco Rail. KEY RESULT AREAS Administration of the Harsco vehicle fleet Reduction of stock outs RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Sourcing support - for non-stock items and services including raising requisitions. Support with qualifying suppliers and review supplier performance. Must be capable of handling multiple projects at one time. Management of the company service portals such as travel, PPE, stationary etc. Management of company vehicles – servicing, replacements & any escalation issues for our drivers. Management of buildings servicing such as aircon, heating, water coolers etc. Raising purchase orders, manual orders & maintain LN data integrity. Expediting critical non-stock and overdue purchase orders. Resolve supplier problems associated with invoicing issues, rework and faulty items or services. Must be able to develop excellent working relationship with both internal and external customers as well as suppliers. Review, analyse and interpret various reports. Constantly look for improvement opportunities and report as appropriate. Ability to interface with company and/or supplier senior management. Travel may be required to visit suppliers and Harsco locations to build relationships. Work towards having all services on a purchase order to reduce manual invoices. Manage contractors that provide services to Harsco ensuring they are qualified and provide a good quality service, as directed. Support with the issuing of the yearly code of conducts and reviewing compliance. Work closely with the EHS manager when purchasing of safety products or offering alternative products. Be a strong team player with ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams. Any other reasonable duties HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES To take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by your acts and omissions at work. Contribute to the delivery of company occupational health and welfare, safety and environmental improvement plans. Only undertake work for which you have been trained and (if required) certified competent. To comply with Risk Assessments, method statements and safe systems of work. Maintain and utilise all PPE provided by the employer. Co-operate with your employer on health, safety and environment. Make safe any unsafe conditions where practical and challenge unsafe work practices. Inform your line manager, supervisor or health and safety representative of any unsafe occurrences Report all, and assist with investigating relevant accidents, incidents and near misses Additional responsibilities as identified for Managers in PRO/S/G/015 KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Engineering Operations Finance Warehouse
