Senior Planning and Performance Analyst

Based in Rhyl/Hybrid
Permanent, 37 hours per week
NWFRS Grade 07 £35,412 to £38,220 per annum pro rata
We are looking to appoint a Senior Planning and Performance Analyst to join our Planning, Performance and Transformation Department. The successful candidate will support the Service’s corporate planning framework by developing and maintaining systems for performance monitoring and improvement, including benchmarking against other Fire and Rescue Services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and maintaining performance monitoring systems.
* Benchmarking performance against other Fire and Rescue Services.
* Analysing performance data to recommend improvements.
Qualifications and skills:
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
* Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage conflicting priorities.
* Knowledge of statistical and performance reporting techniques.
* Understanding of how systems and technology enhance efficiency.
* Minimum Welsh Language level 2 skills (or attain within 12 months).
* Standard DBS check and satisfactory references required.
