Join DOF as our Compliance Coordinator!
We are looking for a Compliance Coordinator to support our Compliance team in Aberdeen. In this role, you will help ensure that our projects operate in accordance with local regulations and internal requirements across different jurisdictions.
You will work closely with project teams and internal support functions to deliver compliant solutions, minimise risk, and ensure the organisation meets its regulatory obligations. This role offers a great opportunity for someone early in their finance or compliance career who is keen to develop their expertise in project compliance within a global offshore services organisation.
Requirements
1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
2. Currently working towards, or interested in pursuing, a professional finance qualification.
3. Graduate with placement experience or 1–2 years’ experience in accounting, finance or compliance.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. Good organisational skills with the ability to plan, execute and follow up on tasks.
6. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
7. Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Is this the perfect role for you, but you don’t meet every single requirement? We value the right person over a perfect match to a job description. Research shows that underrepresented groups are less likely to apply unless they meet every listed requirement, and we don’t want that to hold great talent back, so we encourage you to apply. It’s the best way for us to find the right talent for this role, or another, and that could be you.
Responsibilities:
8. Support the establishment and closure of legal entities where required for projects.
9. Engage with internal tax, tender and project teams to develop and maintain project compliance plans.
10. Work with operational managers and support functions such as Cost Control, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable and Payroll to deliver country-specific project compliance requirements.
11. Liaise with local tax advisors to ensure completion of:
12. Monthly tax filings and payments
13. Annual financial statements and tax filings
14. Provide project compliance support on larger projects in collaboration with the Compliance Lead.
15. Identify, report and manage project compliance risks.
16. Create, prepare and update country-specific compliance documentation.
17. Capture and document lessons learned to improve future compliance processes.
18. Support internal and external audits.
19. Provide ad-hoc compliance support across functions as required.
20. Assist with other business activities relevant to the role.
Location
This position will be based in Aberdeen, UK.
Application due date: 18th April 2026
