Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You will benefit from training, development, mentoring, and assistance for relevant accreditations, as well as support and guidance to develop and succeed. As a GROW graduate, you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to help you gain the necessary skills.
As an engineer joining GROW, you will have the opportunity to specialise within your chosen discipline and gain the appropriate experiences to become a technical expert. Being an Engineer at Arcadis involves applying a human filter to your technical expertise, making an impact through innovation and creativity. During the programme, you will develop core engineering and consulting techniques applicable while working with clients in the UK and potentially internationally.
Our Systems Engineers work across various schemes in railway, highway, and defence sectors, delivering a whole-system approach. They possess broad engineering knowledge across disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) and management skills to ensure project delivery. Systems Engineers focus on understanding customer and stakeholder needs, managing project requirements and interfaces throughout the project lifecycle, including design, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and obsolescence management.
* Accepted degrees: MSc or BSc in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecoms Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications & Experience:
* You will be graduating in or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant degree.
* You will demonstrate Arcadian skills such as resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork.
* You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
* You should be willing to travel and stay away from home when required (we embrace virtual working where possible).
