HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Duties & Responsibilities The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse lorry and assisting loaders with collecting/emptying bins from residential premises, returning them where necessary, and ensuring all additional work and missed bins are completed. A minimum 3 months experience within last 6 months in HGV Class 2 driving is essential. * Drive and operate a class 2 dust car, refuse lorry, or bin lorry * Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week * Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins * Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins * Work as part of a small team HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Person Specification * UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 6 months) * Digital tachograph card & CPC card * Ability to provide a professional waste management service to residential customers * Keen and eager to learn new skills * Excellent, professional work ethic * Good team working skills and good communication skills * Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment * Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
