Electronics/Cable Assemblers Required ASAP Swindon. £12.70 - £15.50/hour. Immediate Starts Available\n\nWe currently have an exciting opportunity for individuals with electronics or cable assembly experience to join a growing production team in a temp-to-perm role.\n\nRole Overview:\n We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Cable Harness Technicians who will be responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining cable harnesses for electronic systems.
This position requires precision, technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to quality.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRead and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings\nCut, strip, crimp, solder wires; install connectors and coverings\nPerform continuity and electrical testing using test equipment\nMaintain accurate records of assemblies and test results\nPerform routine maintenance on tools and machinery\nAdhere to all safety and compliance standardsRequired Experience & Skills:\n\nAt least 2 years of experience in cable harness or electronics assembly\nSkilled in soldering, crimping, and using various connectors\nFamiliar with multimeters and continuity testersPreferred Qualifications:\n\nKnowledge of IPC620, JSTD, and COPs standards\nExperience with quality inspection\nStrong attention to detail and good manual dexterity\nBackground in automotive, aerospace, or telecom industries is a plusSchedule:\n\nMonday-Thursday: 08:00-16:30 (30-minute lunch)\nFriday: 08:00-13:00If you or someone you know may be interested in this opportunity, please feel free to reach out to me directly at (url removed)\n\nProactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.\nProactive Global is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
