We are recruiting on behalf of a supported accommodation provider working with vulnerable young people. This is a front lineHousing Officer role focused on tenant engagement, property standards, health & safety compliance, and anti-social behaviour management.
This role suits a proactive housing professional who enjoys working in the community, maintaining high property standards, and building positive, professional relationships with residents and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
* Conduct regular property inspections to ensure homes meet required standards
* Identify and report maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, and health & safety risks
* Complete property check-ins, check-outs, inventories, and property turnarounds
* Build positive relationships with residents and support them to maintain their accommodation
* Investigate and manage reports of anti-social behaviour, implementing action plans
* Work collaboratively with landlords, local authorities, contractors, and internal teams
* Maintain accurate records, inspection schedules, and written correspondence
* Escalate safeguarding, compliance, or property concerns in line with policy
