Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Leicester for a HGV Driver Class 1/2 specializing in removals. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), safely loading and unloading items, ensuring goods are transported securely, and adhering to all relevant safety and regulatory standards. The HGV driver will also work collaboratively with the logistics team to ensure efficient delivery schedules and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
* Valid CDL Class A license and experience operating heavy goods vehicles
* Proficiency in truck driving and vehicle handling
* Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards
* Experience with loading and unloading goods
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
* Teamwork and problem-solving abilities
* A clean driving record is required
