Wastewater Servicing Pump Engineer London & South East Salary - DOE | Excellent earning potential with uncapped overtime Are you currently capped with your earning potential? A well-established and growing engineering and drainage company based in Kent is looking to recruit a Wastewater Servicing Pump Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background servicing below-ground pump stations and wastewater systems who is looking to join a company that values its employees, offers long-term stability, strong earning potential, and ongoing training and development. This role will involve travelling to customer sites across London and the South East, carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs, installations, and emergency callouts. Key Responsibilities: Service, inspect, maintain, and repair below-ground wastewater pumping systems, including submersible pumps located within chambers, wet wells, and confined spaces Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on pumps, control panels, pipework, floats, and associated equipment Carry out cleaning, de-ragging, and blockage removal to ensure systems remain fully operational and efficient Install and commission pumps, control panels, and associated wastewater equipment when required Attend reactive breakdowns and emergency callouts across customer sites Complete detailed service reports and accurately record maintenance findings Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and environmental standards Travel between customer sites as part of a field-based engineering role Provide a high level of customer service and maintain strong client relationships onsite Requirements: Proven experience working with wastewater pumps, pumping stations, or similar below-ground mechanical equipment Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills Experience servicing and repairing submersible pumps and associated control systems Ability to work confidently independently and manage workloads effectively in a mobile role Comfortable working within confined spaces and following relevant health & safety procedures Experience with pump installations and commissioning would be advantageous Full UK driving licence essential Willingness to participate in emergency callout duties where overtime is paid What's on Offer: Door-to-door pay Company van and fuel card provided Overtime paid on all hours worked over 40 per week, with excellent earning potential Various bonuses and incentives Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity to join a reputable and expanding company within the wastewater industry Supportive team environment with long-term career prospects
