Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support organisational decision-making.
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable processes.
* Manage the organisation's accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies related to financial reporting.
* Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
* Lead audits and liaise with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
* Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard organisational assets.
* Supervise finance team members, providing guidance and training as necessary.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and financial initiatives.
Skills
* Proven experience in financial management within a similar organisation or industry.
* Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and overall financial operations.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
