SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (Urmston) | January Start
Teaching Personnel is partnering with a well-regarded, inclusive primary school in Urmston to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time position (8:30am – 3:30pm), starting in January, centres on providing personalised one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
* Delivering targeted SEN support to pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering personalised learning activities
* Supporting the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Helping to maintain an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom setting
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to promote pupil progress
* Monitoring pupil development and adapting support where necessary
What We’re Looking For
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
* Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training)
