An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in Knutsford, Cheshire. You will be employed by one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This nursing home offers a range of services including nursing care, dementia care, residential care, respite care, end-of-life care, and convalescence care.
To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As Deputy Manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care staff, and overseeing high-quality clinical and pastoral care.
* Serving as the home's nurse expert, utilizing both your nursing and managerial skills.
* Focusing on residents with complex needs, ensuring compliance with the latest guidelines, making informed decisions, and maintaining high standards of clinical governance through regular audits.
* Developing care plans and conducting assessments.
* Providing personalized, resident-centered care alongside the team.
The ideal candidate will have:
* The ability to engage effectively with service users to understand and meet their needs.
* Good knowledge of CQC standards.
* The ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staff.
* Strong clinical skills.
* Experience promoting ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing and evaluating care plans.
The successful Deputy Manager will receive a salary of £25.00 per hour, totaling approximately £52,000 annually. This is a permanent, full-time role working day shifts. Benefits include:
