Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer
Status: Contract, 12 months
Start Date: Spring 2026
Location: Daresbury
Addison Project Plc is seeking expressions of interest from (PSC) contractors to provide Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering (Electrical bias) services for a period of 6/12 months based in our office in Daresbury office.
Services to be provided
* Site, surveys, visits and client meetings
* Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering Design
* Electrical, Control & Instrumentation installation Scope of Work documents
* Checking and approval of Engineering Design
* Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison
* Technical evaluations of estimates
* Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co‑ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design
* Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids
Person specification
* You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
* Experience of relevant calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget.
* A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
* You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
* Distribution and motor control experience is desirable as is experience of Pro / Engineer software.
