Appliance and TV repair (mostly appliance)
Looking for a self-motivated individual. I have plenty of work to assign, with jobs paying between $20 and $100 each if considered successful repairs. The pay could be equivalent to an hourly rate, as each job typically takes about 15 to 45 minutes, plus some drive time between stops. You would start or end each day at the warehouse in Emigsville (north York) near York Barbell company.
If training is needed, we can provide it. You may come as a ride-along to learn the process. I will personally train you. I am a nationally recognized field service technician for a leading appliance manufacturer. Most work is straightforward; typically, one job per day will present a minor challenge.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, a clean criminal and driving record, and passing a drug test to meet industry standards.
You must be able to drive very well. Total drive time may be 1-3 hours, with rare days of 4-5 hours.
You will start or end your day at the warehouse to pick up parts needed for the day's jobs. We set you up for success. On-the-job training is available. Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and some electronic knowledge is preferred. You should be good with your hands and a problem solver, not just someone who highlights problems.
Reliability and responsibility are essential. We show up for work every day. If I can go 13 years with a single call-off, it's achievable. You must be comfortable in customers' homes and courteous.
You will eventually get your own work van if you don't already have one. If not, we can help you acquire one suitable for the job at a good cost.
You MUST TEST the product before leaving the customer's home to ensure proper and safe operation. You may deal with natural gas, propane, hot and cold water, drainage/plumbing, and electrical outlets/supply.
This job offers significant growth potential. With good performance, you can expect to make over $100k/year. We typically start with 4 job referrals per day. As you gain experience, handling 7-10 jobs per day is possible, potentially earning up to $1,000 per day. If you're highly competent in business and administrative tasks, you may be considered for a business partner role.
