Location: UK-Based (Midlands ideally) with International Travel

About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level Applications Engineer to join a growing team of technical specialists. This is not a graduate position — it’s designed for individuals who have developed solid experience programming CNC machines and want to progress into applications, supporting advanced manufacturing solutions.
You’ll be trained to deliver high-quality technical support, machine demonstrations, and process development, working closely with engineers, customers, and partners. You’ll also travel internationally as part of your long-term career development in a dynamic and high-tech industry.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting in machine set-ups, programming, and customer demonstrations
Developing machining strategies and supporting production trials
Providing technical input during customer visits and exhibitions
Working across the UK and overseas to support applications and installations
Receiving long-term, structured training to progress into a fully-fledged Applications Engineer
What We’re Looking For
Apprentice-trained CNC programmer with demonstrable experience in machine programming
Comfortable reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances
Some CAM experience (preferred but not essential)
Practical understanding of tooling, feeds/speeds, and machining strategies
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally
Passion for engineering and continuous development
