Learn more at www.songtradr.com. Job Description The Senior Analyst is the backbone of financial insight for the Group. This role owns the integrity, structure, and performance of the core FP&A models, ensuring the business has a single, reliable source of financial truth for decision-making. This role partners closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner (Senior FBP), the Reporting/Consolidation team, and the Head of FP&A to translate business activity into high-quality budgets/forecasts and business performance analysis. Main Job Duties Financial Modelling Own and maintain the group FP&A models, including full P&L and cashflow for budgets, forecasts, plus detailed revenue, people and operating cost models. Support the Senior FBP by updating the actual results for the monthly performance review packs. Update all models for key assumptions/drivers following the performance reviews each month. Consolidate and reconcile revenue and cost centre budgets/forecasts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency. Build scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making. Ensure all FP&A outputs are robust, efficient and iterative. Continuously improve systems, processes, controls and automation. Budgeting & Planning Cycle Support Prepare templates for the annual budget cycle, quarterly forecasts and the monthly rolling forecast process. Support the collection and validation of business budget/forecast submissions. Assist the Head of FP&A with budget/forecast consolidation Assist the Head of FP&A with building the long-range planning model Assist the Senior FBP with the distribution of budget/forecast outputs to business leaders and finance. Ensure alignment between submissions, reporting structures, and long-range planning models. Analytical Support & Insight Generation Analyse trends, variances, and KPIs to support the Senior FBP and Head of FP&A. Prepare analytical outputs such as bridge analyses, margin analysis, headcount views, and cost tracking. Support ad hoc analysis for the CFO, ELT, and wider business. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Work closely with the Senior FBP to support budget/forecast inputs, analysis, and partnering outputs. Support the Head of FP&A with strategic projects and long-range planning. Provide financial input for ad hoc business cases, investment models, and scenario testing. Key Deliverables Updated and accurate FP&A models that drive numbers the business can trust and can be used autonomously by other stakeholders in some cases Consolidated budget and forecast models that can be used confidently to drive business decisions Monthly analysis and insights for performance reviews Scenario modelling for strategic decisions Ad hoc analysis as required Desired Skills & Experience Technical / FP&A Competencies Qualified Accountant - CA or equivalent with 5-8 years PQE Strong, advanced financial modelling skills in Excel and experience using Google Sheets Senior analyst-level experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ability to work with complex datasets and reconcile multiple sources of information Understanding of P&L structure, cost drivers, cash flow and financial mechanics Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Strong analytical thinking Ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and insights Comfortable working with complex, non-standardised data sets High attention to detail and strong analytical discipline Ways of Working Clear communication skills Ability to collaborate across teams and time zones Proactive, structured, and able to work autonomously Flexibility in working hours where required to support our global remote team Our Three Core Values Lead with Music It’s our compass and our passion.
