Bank Nurse at Hillside Lodge
Salary: £23.50 per hour
Hours: Bank - Zero hours
Shift Times: As/when needed in the service, 12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)
Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Nurse who is ready to make a positive impact at Hillside Lodge, a modern purpose designed 60 bed care home situated in the beautiful West Sussex village of Pulborough. Hillside Lodge offers a range of services to support residents' physical, emotional, and social needs, including 24-hour nursing care.

Job Responsibilities
5. Assessing patients health and care needs and developing care plans
6. Administering medication and monitoring services users response
7. Providing nursing care, including wound care and palliative care
8. Liaising with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalised care
9. Supporting service users with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
10. Providing emotional support to service users and their families
11. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
12. Working within the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines to ensure high standards of care
13. Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
14. Participating in the induction and ongoing training of new staff members
Qualifications and Experience:
15. NMC Registered Nurse
16. Experience working in elderly care, including caring for patients with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related conditions
17. Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
19. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
20. Ability to work independently and use own initiative
21. Commitment to continuing professional development
