We are working with an established and growing transport consultancy who are looking to recruit a Graduate Transport Planner to join their team. They offer excellent working hours, strong benefits and genuine long-term career development opportunities within a supportive environment.
The role involves supporting the delivery of transport planning projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, assisting with assessments, data analysis and planning applications.
A degree in Geography, Physics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline will be advantageous to your application.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing Transport Statements and Transport Assessments
Assisting with Travel Plans and sustainable transport strategies
Collecting, analysing and interpreting traffic and transport data
Supporting junction capacity modelling and traffic forecasting
Assisting with planning applications and liaising with local authorities
Producing clear and accurate technical reports
Supporting senior consultants on a variety of projects
Requirements
Degree qualified in Geography, Physics, Civil Engineering or similar
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
