Sales Administrator

Kettering

Monday to Friday day shift, 37.5 hours per week

100% Office Based

On behalf of our client, Pertemps are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy Certification Team who assess and certifies items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to European and UK market requirements.


About the role

As a member of the Certification Team, you will work alongside a fantastic team of colleagues operating from offices in the UK, Ireland, and China. This role involves supporting the Module C2 & D team.


Responsibilities

* Respond accurately and professionally to customer enquiries within agreed timeframes
* Coordinate customer projects, maintaining visibility of inbound, ongoing, and outbound work
* Provide routine project progress updates to customers and the operations manager
* Handle general administrative duties related to the creation and booking-in of customer projects and product samples
* Contact in-house and 3rd party subcontractors for sample testing
* Review test reports and provide suggestions to the Decision Maker
* Develop a technical understanding of customers' products and SATRA’s PPE services
* Build good working relationships with colleagues and customers
* Maintain contact with the customer base via telephone, email, on-site meetings, and video calls
* Maintain accurate data on the company CRM system
* Contribute to other sales and marketing activities as required


About you

* A minimum of GCSE Grades A-C in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent qualifications/experience)
* A confident self-starter
* Highly organized and self-motivated
* Inquisitive and a natural problem solver
* Ability to prioritize work and multitask across several initiatives
* Strong interpersonal skills and able to build rapport with both customers and colleagues at all levels
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
