About the Role
We are looking to appoint a self‑motivated and enthusiastic addition to support our Welfare and Skills team at WQE. The successful candidate will be based at either of our campuses and will serve as the primary first aid responder.
Responsibilities
* Provide welfare and skills support to students, especially those with additional needs.
* Deliver administrative support, including planning, organising, and communicating with students and staff.
* Maintain and administer first aid facilities and act as the first point of contact in emergencies.
* Work independently, using initiative to solve problems and improve student support services.
Qualifications
* Experience working with young people with additional needs, ideally within an educational setting.
* Strong planning, organisational, communication, and customer‑service skills.
* Professional first aid training and the ability to act as the primary first aid responder.
Salary and Benefits
Full‑time, term‑time plus 2 weeks permanent post commencing 17th August 2026. Salary band 3–6 (£24,759–£25,558 per annum, pro rata). The starting salary is £22,580, negotiable based on experience.
