An established construction contractor in the North West is seeking an experienced Temp Buyer to support ongoing operational delivery.
The role will involve supporting a busy workload across multiple live instructions, working closely with operational teams to ensure materials, plant and services are procured efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Procuring materials, plant and services for live construction works
Raising and managing purchase orders
Liaising with suppliers to secure best value and availability
Supporting operational teams in a fast‑paced environment
Managing multiple requirements concurrentlyExperience Required
5+ years’ experience in a construction buying role
Strong understanding of construction materials and supply chain
Comfortable working at pace and prioritising changing requirements
Able to step in quickly and work with minimal supervisionContract Details
