A leading materials handling equipment provider is looking for an ambitious Graduate Sales Executive to join its growing sales team covering Peterborough and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate who wants to build a long-term career in business development and technical sales.
The role is focused on winning new business. You will be given a defined territory and the freedom to develop it, targeting companies across sectors such as warehousing, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. This position will suit someone who is energetic, resilient and confident approaching new customers face-to-face.
The Role

Develop new business opportunities across a defined territory around Peterborough
*
Proactively generate leads through door knocking, cold calling and networking
*
Build relationships with decision makers across industrial and logistics sectors
*
Identify equipment requirements and present tailored solutions
*
Manage your own pipeline and sales activity to consistently win new accounts
*
Work closely with the wider sales and service teams to deliver excellent customer support

Graduate calibre individual looking to start a career in field sales or business development

Highly tenacious, self-motivated and confident engaging with new prospects
*
Comfortable being out on the road meeting customers and opening new doors
*
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*
Full UK driving licence required
