Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will assist in delivering care within the Primary Care Department at HMP Wymott, including assessing care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care pathways.
Key qualities include a positive attitude, resilience, and strong leadership skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.
Healthcare services operate 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, requiring flexibility from the successful applicant.
The Primary Care Team Leader will support the Primary Care Manager and Senior Management in leading and developing healthcare staff and visiting professionals, ensuring high standards of care and adherence to policies.

Person specification
Essential qualifications and experience include:
* Current NMC registration as a General Nurse (Adult).
* Degree or equivalent in a relevant clinical area.
* Experience working with service users with complex needs, including mental health and substance misuse.
* Operational management skills for clinical activities, training, and staff rotas.
* Ability to supervise nursing colleagues and lead in clinical practice.
* Knowledge of clinical governance, health education, and promotion.
* Experience in primary care procedures such as sutures, intravenous injections, and catheter insertion.
