Role Overview
We are looking for a full‑time Payments Assistant to join the Finance Team within Gwent Police. The role involves covering all aspects of finance end‑to‑end processes, from processing invoices for payment to responding to employee enquiries about pay/expenses and managing both internal and external reporting.
Responsibilities
* Process invoices for payment.
* Respond to employee enquiries regarding pay and expenses.
* Prepare and maintain reports due to internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain good communication and attention to detail.
