Restaurant Manager
Were currently seeking a Restaurant Managerat our hub inCentral Manchester, this role will be working in conjunction with the Chef Manager. Universal Square is a busy multi-tenant commercial building near Manchester Piccadilly Station. We are looking for a well organised and experienced Restaurant Manager to manage the day to day running of our restaurant. This is a key role in the smooth running of the Kitchen
Responsibilities:
1. Involved in menus based on feedback from customers.
2. Aware of food preparation and safety, ensuring timely completion of relevant documentation, and being the named responsible person for compliance and reporting.
3. Demonstrate exceptional customer service and always provide a knowledgeable service, in particular regarding allergens and special dietary requirements.
4. Set up, operate, and update an electronic point of sales till system, drawing down sales reports when necessary.
5. Involved in stock and menu so to have a positive impact on sales, margin and profit.
6. Lead in the routine deep cleaning of the restaurant floor, storage, service and dining areas, including heavy and light equipment and machinery, crockery, and cutlery, in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
